Cape Town (March 2015) One of the world’s most authentic, multi-platinum selling, Grammy Award winning Christian artists, Michael W. Smith, will be on tour in South Africa this May, in association with 104 Concerts, Tygerberg 104FM and GrootFM 90.6.

104 Concerts forms part of the Christian radio station Tygerberg 104FM. This will be the first time that Michael W. Smith will be on tour in South Africa with only one promoter. It is with great anticipation that the country is looking forward to this well loved artists’ performance.

The Tenessee based worship leader will be performing across the country at the following venues:

25 May 2015 – CRC – Bloemfontein

26 May 2015 – ICC – Durban

28 May 2015 – Grand Arena, GrandWest – Cape Town

29 May 2015 – Rhema Church – Johannesburg

30 May 2015 – Moreleta Church – Pretoria

Michael W. Smith has released 29 albums, which produced 31 nr 1 hit singles and sold more than 18 million copies.

Besides the 3 Grammy awards, he also won 40 Dove awards. This internationally renowned artist is described as one of the most authentic worship leaders of our generation and he is well known for songs like “Above All”, “Here I Am to Worship” and “Agnus Dei”.

As a respected artist he has great influence across borders of continents and cultures. In his career of 30 years he had the opportunity to perform for Presidents, national leaders, community gatherings, Billy Graham crusades and on international television. But this grandfather of six says his work is not done yet!

His words echo in the expectant hearts of all those involved in the planning of this Michael W. Smith South African Tour 2015: “I know God has big stuff planned that ultimately doesn’t have anything to do with me” says Michael. The concerts promises to be inspired, anointed and exceeding the crowd’s expectations.
